A hot dog stand
The name comes from Frank and Tony, two guys slinging food at a hot dog stand. It found its way to Schaumburg and put down roots.
2012
All-in on scratch cooking
Chef Ed threw out the pre-made ingredients. Fresh dough daily, sauces cooked in-house, every pizza baked in our stone oven.
Today
The third generation of chefs
Chef Andy, Chef Joe, Chef Alex and more carry on what Chef Ed started. Our apprentices learn on the line, without culinary school debt.

What are Frato’s hours?
The kitchen is open Monday through Thursday 4pm to 9pm, Friday and Saturday 11am to 10pm, and Sunday 11am to 9pm. Frato’s VIP Gaming opens at 10am every day (21+).

How big is a Frato’s pizza slice?
One pound: 15 to 17 ounces of stone oven pizza. Slices are baked ahead and kept hot so they’re ready fast. Whole pizzas are made to order.
Is the $2.99 Saturday slice available online?
No. The $2.99 price is walk-in only. Online, you’ll find the Saturday pizza under Monthly Specials.
Do you have halal options?
Yes, on some items. Not everything on the menu is halal. See our halal page for the current list, or ask your cook.
Do you have gluten-free pizza?
Yes. A 12-inch gluten-free crust is available.
