Frato’s won Best of the ’Burbs at the WACO Wingfest charity wing competition, judged blind against 11 competing restaurants.
The panel included the mayors of Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates and Hanover Park, as reported by the Daily Herald. Our lineup that day included the Whiskey BBQ and the Inferno Mustard. We donated the cash prize back to the kids’ charity. Size matters too: our boneless wings are 50% bigger than the leading wing chain’s.

The Chef Ed prank
Chef Ed called this one mild. He was lying.
Chef Ed’s favorite prank was handing someone his Very Very Hot sauce and swearing it was a new mild one. New trainees learned fast. Keep the tradition alive: order a round of Inferno Mustard, put it in front of the friend who says nothing’s too hot, and film it.
