What makes them different
Not all mozzarella sticks are created equal.
Most restaurants use pre-made, frozen mozzarella sticks. We refused. Every single stick at Frato’s is handmade fresh daily by our culinary team in Schaumburg.
Our proprietary cheese blend — a combination of imported buffalo milk mozzarella and premium whole milk mozzarella — is what sets us apart. We developed this recipe specifically for the ultimate stretch. The buffalo milk brings the creaminess. The whole milk brings the pull. Together, they create something no one else can replicate.
When you bite through that golden, crispy shell and see the cheese stretch across the table… that’s the moment. That’s why people drive from Wisconsin, Indiana, and across Chicagoland just for this.

Worth the drive
What our customers say.
“The cheesepull is insane. We drove 45 minutes and it was absolutely worth it. My kids are already asking when we can go back.”
“These mozzarella sticks are life-changing. I’ve had mozz sticks everywhere and nothing compares. Whatever cheese blend they use is pure magic.”
“Saw these on TikTok and had to try them. Drove from Indiana with my girlfriend. The video doesn’t do the cheesepull justice — it’s even better in person.”
“We come here every Sunday after church. My husband says it’s the only place he’ll order mozzarella sticks. He’s not wrong.”
